THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PEDESTRIAN LANE AT TAMAN MAWAR, PASIR GUDANG.

Abstract

Pedestrian line is commonly used for access the quality of operation of transport facilities in the roadside environment. However the facilities have not maintained and provide in certain places in Taman Mawar, Pasir Gudang .Pedestrian are often neglected at the walkway. The primary objective of this study is to proof the urgency on having Pedestrian Walkway facilities in Taman Mawar,Pasir Gudang.Pedestrian is important element in livable city concept. Effective walkway widths have been state in this study to purpose the proper walkway facilities for pedestrian. The result shows certain element that proving the urgency of the facilities, for example in term of safety aspect, connectivity aspect and mobility aspect. Furthermore certain places in Taman Mawar also need the proper facilities to ease the people around to move.
