Automatic Cloth Hanger

Abstract

Nowadays, technology plays important role in life. Invention of a particular thing has shown its capabilities to ease human hectic daily life.This project is proposed to facilitate the need of human basis which is drying clothes. This clothes hanger is constructed using a single-phase motor as well as control circuit in combination with rain detector circuit that act as a switch. Besides, it is also equipped with a timer device and a mechanical display controller for its current status. It works when the start switch is pressed and the hanger move forward until it touches the limit switch. The hanger will retrieve in once the timer has stopped counting. This system acts automatically when the rain sensor detects rain water and retrieves in the clothes hanger even before the timer stops counting. Then, the hanger retrieves out again when the rain has stopped and the system works as usual following what has been set on timer. In this project, sensor will be tested to demonstrate its appropriate function and suitability. This project is expected to ease people in drying clothes and thus saving time.
