dc.description.abstract The “Wireless Mailbox System Using Arduino” is a simple device that is perfect for anyone who hates continuously checking the mail box only to find that the mail hasn't been delivered yet. By sending a wireless signal from the mailbox to a receiver placed conveniently anywhere in the home, you will know exactly when your mail has come and finally put an end to the inconvenience of the mailbox. Inside the mailbox, there is an infrared sensor waits for the mail to be delivered. When the letter passes through the hole at the mailbox, the sensor will be activated and at the same time transmitted data to the receiver. Then, the data will be displayed at the LCD screen inside the house showing the number of letter inside the mailbox. Moreover, this mailbox system also consist an alarm buzzer placed inside the house that will alert the people when there is a mail inside the mailbox. This instruction is programmed by using Arduino’s Software and it used Arduino Uno as the microcontroller. The system will remain on until the user reset the system, and waits for the next delivery. en_US
