THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND THE SAFETY AT WORKPLACE IN THE CASE OF: LIMA BINTANG LOGISTIK SDN. BHD

Abstract

Human behavior is one of the major parts that we should take care of, because it includes the range of emotions, ethics, cultures, attitudes, and values, and each of all the human being are differ in such behavior. It also related with several basis that lead to some particular behavior like genetics, lifestyles, or social culture. In workplace, there are many types of people that we are dealing with, so, it is crucial to determine whether it can be handled or not. Safety is a key factor in ensuring that everyone is bound to the policy and procedures so that they are in the best condition. Safety can also be defined to be the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. This can take the form of being protected from the event or from exposure to something that causes health or economic losses. It can include protection of people or of possessions. In this research, we want to determine the relationship between human behavior and safety at workplace; either it can impact the daily operation, life, and efficient and effective processes at Lima Bintang Logistik Sdn. Bhd. The research methodology that will conducted involve observation, interview and questionnaire, either they comply with the procedures from company. From that point, we will surely find on how strong the relationship between human behaviour with the safety at workplace.
