Abstract:
The thesis describes entire process in development of aquarium auto cleaning
system. It is a system that been designed to ease fish keeper from their duty to
change the water of an aquarium. The system will automatically detect the turbidity
of water and do the process of change the water in the aquarium. This system is a
combination of two sensors; turbidity sensor and water level sensor. Turbidity sensor
been designed by water running through in between LDR and LED. While for the
water level sensor the designed is based on ADC concept where the detection of
voltage at two points; low level and high level is the sensor part itself. All the
hardware and software development been integrated by Arduino based. In analysis
phase for software development there are several issues regarding ADC for high
level sensor such as, the unstable value when measurement is taken. All procedure to
undertake and minimize the problem been made for the solution to the problem.
Starting with the problem been analyzed and the requirement for the solution been
obtained until the solution been designed. The thesis will describe the entire process
step-by-step and how-to approach the problem occurs.
