| dc.description.abstract | Triple-negative breast cancer stands out as the most formidable subtype of breast cancer. Currently, there is a lack of specialized treatments for this particularly invasive form of cancer. A characteristic feature of this cancer is the overexpression of proangiogenic proteins, making the regulation of tumor angiogenesis a promising therapeutic approach. This article offers a comprehensive review of phytochemical studies from 2013 to 2023 that demonstrate anti-angiogenic properties. By integrating the latest evidence concerning these compounds, the review sets the stage for future research directions, aiming to harness the power of phytochemical compounds against triple-negative breast cancer. | en_US |
