Smart mouse in controlling computer mouse for handicapped people 1

Abstract

Physically disabled and mentally challenged people are an important part of our society that has not yet received the same opportunities as others in their inclusion in the society. Therefore, it is necessary to develop easily accessible systems for using computers to achieve their inclusion within the new technologies. This research presents a project whose objective is to draw disabled people nearer to new technologies. In this research the smart mouse project or smart navigation system is presented, which is aimed for the disabled people, which need other kinds of interfaces than ordinary people. The group of users of this system especially persons with critical disabilities which are paralysis and Parkinson. The interaction between a user and a machine is head or body part movements. It gives the opportunity for disabled people to carry out a work with personal computer.
