Abstract:
This research is about controlling home safety through Programmable Controller (Real Time
Smart Relay) remotely, using the Global System for Mobile Communication Modulator & Demodulator
(GSM modem). In this application, the SMS remote control is able to control the power (On-Off) of any
devices and read the status of switches. This study reviews the various types and configuration for GSM
remotely,. Problem statement: Living life as a family or maybe individually has gotten up problem occurs
in some point in life. As we are using electricity as a butter and bread in our life, we have taken for
granted over time-consuming of the electricity plug in the house. We tend to go all around the house to
switch off and on to use the electricity for self purpose. It hassles at some point when the house is so big,
or too small to go around. As today, the quest has stop and problem is solved through this magnificent
gadget. Approach: I conduct a focus group research in order to collect quantitative research about these
problems. This survey was being held at Setapak Housing area. Result: Problem has been solved. It seems
that every people having the same problem, and being forgetful is often happen in everyday life and also
to give the peace of mind to a certain people who concern on safety of the house. So this would kill two
birds with one stone. Conclusions/Recommendations: This majestic gadget enables to help in reminding
people on daily basis thing. It also gives a less burden to the commitment of a person. It changes the life
of the people for betterment in the future. Peace also will derive from the people’s mind when having the
instrument. It gives the time flexibility to the people when at their busy time. This also is an ergonomic
gadget for a person to posses when money wise is involved. As easy as bringing phone here and there
without to lose your confidence and peace of mind wherever you go. As the nutshell I strongly believe
that this will revolutionize the world to produce a productive and dynamic generation.
