dc.description.abstract The difficulty to detect overuse of energy and the absence of measuring equipment to identify the presence of PQ problems have led to the development of this project. The wireless distribution board energy consumption and power quality analysis system aims to help prevent overuse of energy or energy wastage and also assist in detecting power quality problems present in the system. Collection of data will be done by using voltage and current sensors. Using programming, the data will be analyzed and results will be generated. Data and results will be displayed using free cloud server and can be accessed using any PC or mobile devices. The components and software that will be used are explained further in this proposal. The project will be able to penetrate heavy industry market that consume higher rated power by modifying the system to meet the characteristics of that particular power rating. en_US
