dc.description.abstract Good quality of water can maintain the quality of the aquaculture. The water quality index can be improved by real-time monitoring for analysis, monitoring, and observation. Sungai Pahang is known as the largest river in Malaysia that contributes in freshwater aquaculture industry. However, the habitat of aquaculture can be affected in term of environmental, water quality and parasite. Mostly the factor of the pollution is from bauxite, deforest, and dry and flood season. Therefore, this research aims for observation of the environmental in term of turbidity, total dissolved solid and temperature using wireless sensor network. Higher percentage of the dissolved solid and turbidity in the waters could decrease the percentage of oxygen. The parameter used 3 types of sensor which are temperature sensor, turbidity sensor and total dissolved solid sensor for collecting the data. The project used LoRa Dragino LG01-S gateway for real time data transmission. By using Arduino as microcontroller, the sensors could collect and transmit the data through LoRa nodes. The data transmit to the Lora gateway using LoRa nodes and the data will be displayed using FRED application. The result revealed 3 different of parameters in term of turbidity, total dissolved solid and temperature based on 3 different scenario which are river, puyu pond and catfish pond. The purpose of wireless water monitoring system is expected to realize the advantage of monitoring the nature environmental not only for aquaculture but also for human and other living thing. The low strength of LoRa WAN communication is expected due to the suburban area. Finally, the signal strength of transmission can be improved by increasing the number of sensor nodes. en_US
