dc.description.abstract This is the research about Development of Ipv6 Island Network using BGP Protocol. Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) allows an autonomous system to maintain connectivity with other autonomous systems. Nowadays Ipv4 is almost obsolete by demand of the application and the users, to support that demand it must move onto Ipv6 that have a lot of allocation. For companies they need to provide a reliable and fast connection to their staff or customers. The great features that offer in this project such as low cost of purchasing, easy to configure and low maintenance cost. This will reduce the cost of purchasing, company will only need to buy set of computer to be installed routing software and easily configured the network. This report is a study of this protocol and it simple mentation in the Zebra/Quagga routing software. The software architecture of this routing software is studied along with details of the implementation of the interaction between BGP and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). Also the main purpose of this project is to make reduce of resource consumption in routing processing. It can understand how the real time internet connection actually working and determined the problem that ISPs and Companies facing on inter-networking. This project final goal is making a productive, quality, and almost free routing software. en_US
