Abstract

Development of Efficient Home Watering System for Rose Plant is made up for the rose plant’s one of the most important source which is water. It is not just a system to feed water to the rose plant, but it also has any other functions that is believed to be a good one for the plant to stay healthy and fertile. The reason why this project chose rose plant is the sensitivity that rose plant has as it needs additional care rather than a normal plant. This system can help people in saving the usage of water at their home and unconsciously help in saving money. Besides, it also helps in providing an ideal growth for the plant as it controls the amount of water that supposed to give to the plant every day. Time can also be saved when user used this system as it can help them to water the plant everyday thus monitor the growth of the plant often. This system is fully controlled using Arduino UNO and it will irrigate water to rose plant by using water pump. The soil moisture sensor, humidity sensor and temperature sensor are the input that were used in this system. Whenever an occurrence of a change in the soil sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, they will trigger an interrupt signal to the Arduino UNO and the water pump is activated. This system for surely can make user’s life easier in many ways as consists of many advantages of using this automatic watering plant system. This system is convenient as it will make the users feel easier especially for those who are frequently go on travel and have a commitment in monitoring plant as they can keep on travelling without any worries as they have a system that can keep their rose plant healthy and fertile.
