dc.description.abstract The objective of this project is to design a compartment which can warm up or cool down drink in required temperature. The mechanism used for heating and cooling is by using Peltier Effect Device whereby it has the same concept used as a normal refrigerant (gases or water). Peltier effect device is made of N and P type semiconductors that are joined together by metal contact to form a junction that can perform cooling on one side while heating on the other side. The literature review is the better understanding of the project title. Tools identification is essential to determine the equipment and software used in this project. The project is developed using a set of defined procedures and is illustrated more eloquent in a logic flowchart. The temperature controller is used as temperature sensor which is LM35 and microcontroller Arduino Uno is for software programmed. The outer body of the compartment that will be used for the prototype is wood and pvc. The Peltier is attached around the device of the compartment to make the process of heat transfer increases. The temperature sensor is placed near the main Peltier. At bottom of the device is where the system and power supply is placed to make device function well and prevent overheating. en_US
