Automatic Plant Irrigation System

Abstract

This one of the most useful project in our real life especially in the field of agriculture and cultivation. It helps us in watering plants automatically without any human interference. We may also call it as Automatic plant irrigation system. We know that people do not pour the water on to the plants in their gardens when they go to vacation or often forget to water plants. As a result, there is a chance to get the plants damaged. This project is an excellent solution for such kind of problems. In this project we also combine the water level indicator to measure the water level in the water tank for supplying water to plant. The sensing is done by using a set of 6 probes which are placed at six different levels on the wall of the tank. The level 6 represents the “tank full” condition while level 1 represents the “tank empty” condition. It can be used in automatic ON and OFF of the motor depending on the water level. It can also be used as fuel level indicator in vehicles. This allows users to monitor the water level in the tank so it does not run out.
