dc.description.abstract The importance of Development of Hybrid Power Generation System for Domestic Application has been increased drastically due to fast increasing rate of electrical energy demand in Malaysia which is set up by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) nowadays. The development of hybrid power generation system for domestic application have to generate the electricity with stand-alone even though when blackout or no electricity stability in residential areas and developing area such as in the city. Hence, operation conditions and constructible possibilities of the project must be determined. In this study, the role of development of hybrid power generation system for domestic application has been investigated. In order, this will give advantages to the user to utilize both renewable energy sources. Then, the development of hybrid power generation system for domestic application has been obtained by being combined three types of renewable energy sources. The photovoltaic panel has placed on the roof top to trap the sunlight and convert to electricity energy which mostly used in Malaysia. The hydroelectric water turbine is applied to the pipe system at the rain gutter to make sure rain water flow and hit the blade. Lastly, the wind turbine is set up at the edge of the rooftop to make the wind spin the blade of the turbine. Typical stand-alone system is photovoltaic panel only. This project is developed from a hybrid power generation system for domestic application which just use photovoltaic panel and has been upgraded with adding the hydroelectric water turbine and wind turbine to fill the research gap. en_US
