dc.description.abstract The ability of conventional air condition system to produce suitable supply air which lead room to reach to standard indoor thermal condition is significant subject in tropical countries. In this study, a Fan coil unit as conventional cooling system has been considered to evaluation of indoor thermal condition of a seminar room in hot and humid region. Temperature, humidity and flow rate of air in different points of case study have been detected by measurement. Result of case study measurement were compared with a standard FCU. The standard FCU was designed based on ASHREA standard. Results show that the temperature and humidity of seminar room under application FCU were 24.3 oC and 77.1%. It was achieved that the case study FCU was not able to produce suitable supply air for seminar room due to weakness in dehumidification process. In order to reaching the standard indoor condition (25oC, 50%), reheating process needed after increased size of cooling coil. en_US
