Authors: MUHAMMAD IQBAL HAKIMI BIN MOHAMED TARMIZI, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Electronics
Abstract: Physically disabled and mentally challenged people are an important part of our society that has not yet received the same opportunities as others in their inclusion in the society. Therefore, it is necessary to develop easily accessible systems for using computers to achieve their inclusion within the new technologies. This research presents a project whose objective is to draw disabled people nearer to new technologies. In this research the smart mouse project or smart navigation system is presented, which is aimed for the disabled people, which need other kinds of interfaces than ordinary people. The group of users of this system especially persons with critical disabilities which are paralysis and Parkinson. The interaction between a user and a machine is head or body part movements. It gives the opportunity for disabled people to carry out a work with personal computer.

Development of Micro-Hydro Generator in House Plumbing System with Monitoring Device1

Title: Development of Micro-Hydro Generator in House Plumbing System with Monitoring Device1
Authors: FARHAN HADI BIN AHMAD ZAINUL PARHI, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Electrical
Abstract: This project is a development of a small scaled hydrogenator that focuses on the house plumbing system. Basically, we are using the free flow of water in the pipe to generate enough power by installing the generator inside the pipe itself. The generated powers are then stored in power storage so that it can be used as an alternate energy source. By doing that, we can save a substantial amount of energy that are used in our daily lives. The system is also equipped with a monitoring system that can be access easily using our mobile phone with a little help from the internet. With it, users can monitor how much power per day that they have saved by applying this project end product as their alternate source of power in their vicinity. There are also a few limitations in this study such as the flexibility of the equation used in the making of the system, system efficiency and reliability and limitation of materials choosing, or the selection of software used for designing the system. Recommendations are also given to make the entire process more accurate and upgradable to make sure that some problem can be solved

Title: Evelopment of smart fish farming using iot system1
Authors: MOHD FAIZ BUKHARI BIN OTHMAN ZAILANI, Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical
Abstract: This project review about how technology can make it easy for application in the fish farming system. In this context, focusing using the Internet of Thing (IoT) where nowadays a lot of application can monitor and control using this application. Nowadays, the fish farmer had several issues about taking care of fish. The first issue that they had to manage or taking care of their fish manually by monitoring the fish every day and using a lot of manpower to taking care of the fish. The solution to these issues is this project is to design and construct the automatic fish farming system so that the fish farmer doesn't need to monitor or taking care of their fish manually. This system also can monitor and control using apps through the sensor. The second issue is the fish farmer need to feed the fish manually every day. For these issues, the system will help feed the fish automatically for every day by set up the timer using the apps. The system will be using the Arduino to control the system and reading the data from the fish tank. The data that get from Arduino will display at apps Blynk, from that the fish farmer can monitor their fish tank through their smartphone. Compare with conventional it show by using these automated control and monitoring system. It show that the growing rate of the fish can increase. This smart fish farming system is the efficient system that can help the fish farmer to increase production in fish farming. for future recommendation of this project it can be added a water temperature sensor and dissolved oxygen (DO). By combining these sensor it will increase the growing rate of fish.

Medical Device False Alarm Detection via IoT1

Title: Medical Device False Alarm Detection via IoT1
Authors: NUR SYAMIHA BINTI GHALIBAN, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Medical Electronics
Abstract: Medical device alarms perform an essential safety function that causes the human surrounding it to be alerted. A medical device such as syringe pump, a patient monitor, a ventilator, a hemodialysis unit and the other medical device that build with sound alarms is purposely to warn their user or medical person, including nurses, a doctor and other hospital’s staff about the potential problems occur either with the patient or the machine itself. In hospital, Biomedical Engineers/Technicians/Specialist is the person who responsible to ensure the equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all time. If a breakdown happened, Biomedical Engineer/Technicians/Specialist shall attend the breakdown and perform services, maintenance and troubleshooting to identify the main problem that occurs. Therefore, this project is developed based on Biomedical Engineering services and maintenance fields to provide early prediction about the medical device false alarm by capturing the sound or audible alarm produce by the medical device in order to assist Biomedical Engineer/Technicians/Specialist during the troubleshooting process. The signal conditioning method was used to classify the frequency and amplitude of the sound signal. Arduino UNO micro-controller was used as the platform to process the data and the information will be sent to Biomedical Engineer/Technicians/Specialist smartphone via IoT by using ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. As a result, the end user will receive a notification on their smartphone through Messenger Application about the breakdown information.
