Abstract: The shipbuilding activity destroys the mangrove habitat since the activity is
aimed to keep the ship in good shape but has a negative effect on the
environment, which is the mangrove ecosystem. One of the shipbuilding
operations activities that might have an impact on the mangrove ecosystem is
paint, oil, and so on, which can cause the mangrove growth ecosystem to be
stunned and lead to further degradation. The aim of this study was to
determine the level of awareness among Bachelor of Maritime Operation
students at UniKL MIMET about the effect of shipbuilding operation towards
mangrove ecosystem and to study the action that should have been taken in
order to raise awareness among Bachelor of Maritime Operation students at
UniKL MIMET on the declining of mangrove ecosystem as a result of
shipbuilding. By using survey questionnaire, data from the student of 3rd and
4th year, BMO student at UniKL MIMET has been collected and analysed. The
questionnaire collects students’ demographic section which are gender, study
in year and semester, after that continued with Objective 1 and Objective 2
question. A total of 76 questionnaire or data are collected and the data are
analysed by using the Statistical Package for the Science Social (SPSS) to
determine the level of awareness and the action should been taken. The
results of this study found that the level of awareness of students in BMO at
UniKL MIMET is high and the actions should be taken to raise awareness
among BMO students at UniKL MIMET, such as seminars, campaigns,
workshops, training, and social media by the UniKL MIMET community, which
can be used to increase awareness, and students can also be aware that
shipbuilding has destroyed mangrove ecosystem.2023-10-31T00:00:00ZDESIGN OF A FLOATING TRASH COLLECTOR BIKE USING HAND-PADDLENUR UMAIRAH SHAHMINA BINTI SAMSUDDIN, 56102221035http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/291062023-10-31T04:21:44Z2023-10-31T00:00:00ZTitle: DESIGN OF A FLOATING TRASH COLLECTOR BIKE USING HAND-PADDLE
Authors: NUR UMAIRAH SHAHMINA BINTI SAMSUDDIN, 56102221035
Abstract: Environmental contamination is a problem that is challenging to resolve, as we
are all aware. The issue of water pollution is one of the pollution issues that
requires attention. As a result, the authorities have taken several actions,
including establishing trash vessels. This vessel, however, cannot be used in
confined spaces. The goal of this project is to create a new floating module
that are not useful in places where diesel engines or electric motors are not
permitted due to pollution or noise. The Floating Trash Collector Bicycle is a
floating object that uses a conveyor to gather rubbish or waste and manpower
to locomote the vessel. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method was
used in the development of this module. Although, the Interceptor 004 and Mr.
Trash Wheel are two examples of these trash collector devices that are often
huge in size. The goal of this project is to create a smaller floating module with
the same purpose as the Interceptor 004 and Mr. Trash Wheel, but with
advantages in smaller bodies of water like ponds or lakes.2023-10-31T00:00:00ZThe Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 Principles: A Case Study in Sapura Fabrication Yard, Lumut, PerakNUR FATIHAH BINTI JOHARI, 56212120194http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/291052023-10-31T04:19:04Z2023-10-31T00:00:00ZTitle: The Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 Principles: A Case Study in Sapura Fabrication Yard, Lumut, Perak

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the
effectiveness of quality management system iso 9001 principles in Sapura
Fabrication Yard, Lumut. The first goal of this research is to investigate the
factors affecting the effectiveness of quality management system iso 9001
principles and the second is to determine the relationship between the factors
and the effectiveness of quality management system iso 9001 principles in
Sapura Fabrication Yard, Lumut. The data will be gathered through a series of
questions. The data is analysed using SPSS software, descriptive analysis
(mean and standard deviation), and Pearson correlation. This research will be
beneficial to the whole of Sapura Fabrication Yard, Lumut organisation.2023-10-31T00:00:00ZDESIGN AND STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF BOAT TRAILER SLIDERS USING FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA) METHODNOOR HIDAYAH FARHANEEM BINTI HUSSIN, 56217120240http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/291042023-10-31T04:16:19Z2023-10-31T00:00:00ZTitle: DESIGN AND STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF BOAT TRAILER SLIDERS USING FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA) METHOD
Authors: NOOR HIDAYAH FARHANEEM BINTI HUSSIN, 56217120240
Abstract: This research project aims to enhance the usability and performance of boat
trailers by incorporating existing mechanisms and employing advanced design
analysis techniques. The primary objective is to analyze the design of the boat
trailer using equation-based load analysis, considering its maximum load capacity
of 1400kg and length of 6 meters. Additionally, a 3D modeling simulation in
Autodesk Inventor with finite element analysis was utilized to evaluate the
performance of the trailer under various loading conditions. This simulation, which
employs finite element analysis, generates a wealth of data, including stresses
and strains on all planes (XX, XY, XZ, YY, YZ, ZZ), principal stresses, and safety
factors. This data provides valuable insights into the structural behavior and safety
margins of the boat trailer design. The project incorporates different stages of the
design process to determine the final design, ensuring that it meets the required
criteria for strength, stability, and load-bearing capacity. By leveraging advanced
simulation techniques and comprehensive data analysis, this research aims to
optimize the boat trailer's performance and ensure its suitability for various boat
transportation needs2023-10-31T00:00:00Z
